“ Moreno Valley Utility (MVU) is owned by the customers we
serve. Because of this, we are dedicated to providing the highest
quality electric services to benefit the community. Governance
of MVU remains locally with the City Council, not a Board of
Directors in Rosemead or the California Public
Utilities Commission in San Francisco.
Local control also insures that MVU is responsive to local issues
and concerns. The public may attend meetings of the Moreno Valley
Utilities Commission or City Council and be heard directly. When
a storm, fire or other emergency threatens the community, you
will find MVU there with Police, Fire and Public Works as part of a
coordinated response. ”

Mr. Stokes is an MVU customer who received energy efficiency upgrades to his home at no cost, by participating
in the Direct Install Program.
Both of my AC units received free tune-ups and they provided me
“ with some free LED light bulbs. I would recommend this program to
any MVU customer interested in saving money on their electric bill. ”
The MVU Residential Energy Audit & Direct Install Program provides eligible residential customers with an in-
home inspection that identifies energy-saving repair opportunities. Repairs include duct sealing, HVAC filter
changes, and other money-saving home upgrades.
